Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Customer Service Representative / Account Manager to support our client base. This is not a sales role. Instead, you’ll play a critical part in building lasting client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting various administrative functions. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a flexible, team-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, positive relationships with clients.
- Proactively support customer retention through empathetic communication and timely issue resolution.
- Assist with the processing and resolution of insurance claims.
- Interpret billing systems and coverage details to effectively explain policy premium impacts to clients.
- Perform administrative tasks including answering phones, processing mail, managing insurance forms, and handling check processing.
- Accurately update and manage customer records.
- Quickly adapt to new insurance platforms and internal systems.
Qualifications
- Strong willingness to learn, take initiative, and receive coaching.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and customer-focused demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional phone etiquette and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Effective under pressure with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Preferred but not required: experience in trucking dispatch, permits, or accounting.
Preferred Experience
- Microsoft Excel: 1 year
- Data Entry: 1 year
- Trucking Industry Services: 1 year
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Work Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Occasional overtime and weekend availability preferred
- Expected hours: 40 per week
