About the Role
As a Creative Production Intern in the experiential design and live production space, you’ll gain hands-on experience bringing ideas to life through immersive storytelling, cutting-edge technology, and collaborative teamwork. Working alongside senior creatives, technology & production professionals, you will support real-world projects from concept through execution—developing your design skills, creative thinking, and technical understanding. This internship offers a unique opportunity to contribute to high-profile brand experiences, strengthen your portfolio, and build meaningful connections in the creative industry. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of the creative production process and a clearer vision of your career path in experiential design.
What You'll Do
Creative Development & Support
- Assist in the planning, pre-production, and execution of experiential activations and branded events, directly supporting the creative producer and collaborating directly with designers, art directors, and creative technology team
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for interactive and experiential concepts
- Help source and track creative materials, signage development, client assets, etc.
- Interact with cross-functional teams including design, fabrication, and production
Project Work
- Assist with preparation for project activation
- Attend project meetings and support timeline management, documentation, and deliverables
- Join internal creative reviews, contributing to project discussion & collaboration on concept, visual, and narrative refinement
- Assist on-site during activations as necessary based on project schedule within the local area
Research & Innovation
- Research materials, technologies, and design trends in experiential and creative tech spaces
- Stay up to date on trends in experiential activations, spatial design, and audience engagement
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or recent graduate of a communications or creative-related field (experiential, media, design, event production etc.)
- Strong interest in live experiences, interactive storytelling, and branded environments
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple tasks with a proactive mindset
- Clear, thoughtful communicator with the ability to articulate creative ideas
- Demonstrates care and thoroughness in verbal and written communication
- Able to thrive in a collaborative and deadline-driven environment
- Proficient in Google Suite

Position Details
- Reports To: Senior Creative Producer
- Job Status: Full Time (32 - 40 hours weekly)
- Hourly Rate: $21.00 Hourly
- Location: Office in Brooklyn, NY (Industry City)
- Duration: 9-12 weeks (June 22nd to August 31st)
- Onsite Requirements: Work is hybrid
- Monday through Friday
- 10:00 am to 6:00 pm (32 to 40 hours weekly)
- In office Days - Thursday weekly
