Acromil’s increased capacity will further our goal of being a World Class Supplier.Our OpportunityThe selected individual will maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of CNC machinery and mechanical equipment.Essential DutiesEnsures operation of state of the art 3 and 5 axis machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; establishing personal networks. QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have 5 years of experience performing each essential duty listed above satisfactorily. Ability to read and understand mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings.Basic knowledge of PLC and troubleshooting using PLC.Proficiency in the use of micrometers, calipers, and related hand tools in metric and US units.Trained in operation of forklifts, Cranes and skyjacks.Basic knowledge of motion and industrial controls.Experience with 120V, 240V and 480V single and 3 phase. Person must be an United States (US) Person as defined by ITAR Regulations – A United States (US) Person is a citizen of the United States, a lawful permanent resident alien of the US, (a "Green Card" holder), a refugee or someone in the USA as a protected political asylee or under amnesty.Education/ExperienceHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 5 years’ experience maintaining and repairing 3 and 5 axis machines.
