What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stockroom Associate position at Acro Service Corporation?
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, count, and process incoming electronic components and materials.
- Accurately record inventory transactions using the Oracle ERP system.
- Pick, kit, stage, and issue materials to support production schedules.
- Perform daily cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Handle, package, and store electronic components in compliance with Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment while adhering to company safety policies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance stockroom efficiency and inventory accuracy.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Up to one (1) year of related experience in material handling, warehouse, inventory control, or a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with standard PC applications.
- Ability to work with small, detailed electronic components while maintaining accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using Oracle ERP or a similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
- Previous experience in an electronics manufacturing or stockroom environment.
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and ESD handling procedures.
