Mechanical Assembler

• Perform complex assembly, modification, and rework of electronic and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and systems in accordance with established specifications and work instructions.
• Install a variety of mechanical components, hardware, wire harnesses, and electrical connections using hand tools and soldering techniques, including point-to-point wiring.
• Assemble, disassemble, modify, and rework production subassemblies by following detailed work plans, process sheets, and technical documentation.
• Perform through-hole and surface-mount soldering and solder rework while maintaining required quality and workmanship standards.
• Inspect completed assemblies to verify conformance with IPC-A-610 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 workmanship and acceptance standards.
• Obtain and maintain required solder certifications in accordance with company and customer requirements.
• Read and interpret process sheets, work plans, schematics, diagrams, and assembly instructions to accurately complete production tasks.
• Utilize a variety of hand tools and production equipment to perform assembly, modification, repair, and basic functional testing.
• Perform lower-level assembly responsibilities as needed to support production requirements and team objectives.
• Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot assembly and soldering issues.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following established quality, safety, and production procedures.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support overall production and operational goals.
