An Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of simple automated assembly machines used in the production of medical devices. The operator ensures continued machine operation by identifying and addressing faults, aligning stations and fixtures when necessary, and performing basic repetitive tasks. This role requires maintaining high standards of cleanliness and product quality, starting up machines, setting up work orders, and completing production documentation. Operators may handle multiple simple machines and must follow all procedures to ensure safe and consistent operations within a cleanroom environment.
Skills Required
The ideal candidate should have the ability to read and follow written procedures, basic computer skills with familiarity in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word, and the capability to operate and monitor simple automated machines. Basic troubleshooting skills are essential for interpreting and responding to machine faults. Attention to detail is also important for performing inspections and completing production documentation accurately.
Experience Required
- Prior experience operating simple machines is beneficial.
- Experience with cleanroom protocols is a plus.
