What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Engineer position at Acro Service Corp?
- Designs, analyzes, tests, and develops mechanical products, including ammunition handling systems, structures, gun systems, missile launchers, and precision mechanisms.
- Creates and maintains 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using PTC Creo Parametric 11.
- Performs engineering analysis, testing, tolerance stack-ups, GD&T, and product assurance activities while ensuring compliance with applicable engineering standards and military specifications.
- Develops technical documentation, supports manufacturing and production activities, collaborates with customers and cross-functional teams, and contributes to project planning, schedules, and budgets.
- Maintains current knowledge of engineering practices, industry standards, and technologies while ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 4 years of relevant experience, or an M.S. with 2 years. Proficiency in Creo/Pro-E, GD&T (ASME Y14.5), tolerance stack analysis, engineering drawings, and PLM systems such as Windchill. Experience with manufacturing support, precision tooling, and military or aerospace products is preferred.
