Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Specialist, Project Management – Retirement Services to join our team. This role supports the administration and ongoing management of retirement plan relationships by overseeing key client service, compliance, reporting, and operational activities. The position plays an important role in delivering exceptional client experience while supporting business growth and client retention.

As a strategic partner to Retirement Plan Advisors, the Senior Specialist exercises independent judgment in coordinating client service initiatives, analyzing plan information, resolving operational issues, and supporting advisor efforts to strengthen client relationships. Working closely with clients, advisors, vendors, and internal stakeholders, this individual proactively identifies issues, manages competing priorities, and develops solutions that support client and business objectives.

Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for retirement plan clients regarding ongoing service needs, plan administration matters, operational inquiries, and coordination of deliverables.

  • Build and maintain effective client relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and problem resolution.

  • Coordinate and support client review processes, retirement committee updates, audit-related requests, and follow-up activities to help ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

Operational Oversight & Problem Resolution

  • Exercise judgment in identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving client and operational issues, escalating complex matters as appropriate.

  • Collaborate across internal teams and external partners to facilitate timely and effective solutions.

  • Monitor ongoing workflows and operational processes to help ensure service continuity, efficiency, and compliance with internal standards.

Retirement Plan Administration

  • Coordinate day-to-day administration and servicing activities related to retirement plans, including processing client requests, reviewing plan-related information, and supporting advisors with implementation and ongoing plan management activities.

Reporting, Analysis & Strategic Support

  • Prepare and analyze client reporting materials, including investment performance information, fee analysis, plan utilization metrics, and other data used to support advisor recommendations and strategic client discussions.

  • Conduct research and provide analytical support related to plan trends, benchmarking, and client service opportunities.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Support adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements by maintaining accurate client documentation, monitoring required processes, and assisting with updates related to evolving retirement plan regulations and industry standards.

Business Development

  • Support business growth initiatives through preparation of presentations, proposals, client materials, and pipeline tracking. Participate in coordination efforts related to prospective client opportunities, networking events, and advisor business development activities.

Systems & Data Management

  • Maintain accurate and complete client records within CRM and retirement plan systems, ensuring data integrity, reporting accuracy, and proper documentation of client interactions and activities.

Project & Team Coordination

  • Coordinate and support special projects, operational initiatives, and process improvement efforts as assigned. Provide cross-functional support during periods of increased business activity and assist in maintaining continuity of service across the team.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred

  • 5–10 years of experience within the retirement plan or financial services industry

  • Experience supporting client relationship management, retirement plan operations

Pay Details:

The base compensation range for this position is $55,000 - $60,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.

Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
