About the Role -
The MLO will build relationships with our builder partner and visit communities on a regular basis. Communities are located in the Fort Myers, FL area. They will also participate in weekly pipeline status meetings. MLO will interview customers to determine their financial needs and advise those customers of appropriate products, terms, and pricing. They will navigate the borrower through the mortgage process and help to gather required information through clear and timely communication. The MLO must maintain high loan quality standards and comply with industry regulations. The MLO is required to meet sales goals and objectives. MLO's will be able to work builder leads as well as the ability to self-source business!
Responsibilities -
- Build relationships with builder partner and visit communities regularly
- Participate in weekly pipeline status meetings
- Interview customers to determine financial needs and advise on products, terms, and pricing
- Navigate borrowers through mortgage process
- Help gather required information through clear and timely communication
- Maintain high loan quality standards and comply with industry regulations
- Meet sales goals and objectives
Qualifications -
- 3-5 years residential mortgage industry experience, preferably supporting a builder relationship
- FL Mortgage Loan Originator license required
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with builder and customers
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a variety of audiences
- Proficient in product guidelines for Conventional, FHA, and VA loans
- Strong technology skills, encompass experience is a plus
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is preferred
- Must be located in or within a commutable distance to Fort Myers FL
