Job Summary:
Signature Insurance is looking to hire a licensed insurance agent for our growing second office in Troy, Michigan. This is an amazing opportunity for a rewarding career (with excellent income and growth potential) with a leading and reputable agency. Our agency focuses on Home & Auto insurance.
Your main objective will be to help clients find the best coverage to meet their needs and our main objective is to support you in doing so. The success of our team members is very important to us and we will provide the tools and resources to help you achieve or exceed your goals!
We are looking to hire the right candidate(s) IMMEDIATELY and offer a VERY competitive commission structure.
Responsibilities:
- Understand customer requirements and tailor insurance plans to fit their needs.
- Develop insurance quotes and explain different options to the prospective client and encourage the sale of the insurance policy that best suits their needs.
- Use lead information to provide detailed quotes shortly after contacting individuals and following up, as necessary.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Foster strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Ability to build a client base and develop leads via telephone prospecting, referrals, and networking.

Requirements:
- Must have a Property & Casualty license in Michigan.
- Basic proficiency in computers and technology.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to quickly learn and adapt to new systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team player who is punctual and possesses a strong work ethic.
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner in all communication, including via the phone, email, and face to face.
Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Direct sales experience a bonus!
