Schedule
- Day Shift
- 7 AM to 5 PM
- 4x10-hour shifts weekly

Role Responsibilities
The OR Travel RN will support a high-acuity Operating Room with steady trauma volume and rapid case turnover. Typical responsibilities include:
- Circulating and supporting trauma cases, orthopedic trauma procedures, robotic surgeries, and general surgical cases
- Maintaining strict adherence to surgical protocols and infection control guidelines
- Collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists
- Documenting patient information accurately in the medical record
- Participating in call rotation and responding promptly to emergent surgical needs
- Supporting efficient room turnover, case preparation, and equipment management
- Maintaining clinical readiness to respond to unexpected trauma or urgent cases
This assignment requires nurses to demonstrate clinical judgment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast moving surgical environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Active California RN license
- Nursing degree from an accredited program
- 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
- 1 year of travel nurse experience
- Current BLS ACLS and NIHSS certifications
- Experience with trauma, orthopedic, and robotic surgical procedures
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and scheduled call
- Authorization to work in the United States
