Substitute Lead Teacher

Summary

Rainbow Childcare is licensed by the State of Wisconsin for 207 children between the ages of 6 weeks thru 12 years. Rainbow strives to provide the highest level of childcare to our greatest resource, our children. We help children explore, grow and learn through activities and free play that allow each child to develop their personal traits in a caring and loving environment.

We are looking for someone that is available to call as needed when a lead teacher is gone.

Duties

• Follow lesson plans left by the regular classroom teacher
• Communicate with parents & co-workers about children's
• Maintain records of children in the classroom with necessary paperwork
  
  

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• Two non-credit department approved courses in early childhood education or two courses for credit in early childhood education or its equivalent.
• Have 120 days of half time or 80 days of full time experience providing direct child care as a child care worker.
  
  

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree or higher education
• Experience as a lead teacher in a daycare
