What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead engaging STEM lessons for children aged 1–5, tailoring instruction to meet their unique needs
- Encourage children to think creatively and solve problems through hands-on exploration
- Maintain a safe and positive classroom environment, always putting the child's needs first
- Work collaboratively with other educators to integrate STEM learning into the broader curriculum, ensuring a cohesive learning experience
- Communicate effectively with staff and families, keeping them informed about children's learning experiences
- Plan activities that cater to children with varying developmental levels, ensuring everyone can participate and grow
Qualifications:
- CDA, Associate’s, or higher degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred, but not required
- Passion for STEM education and fostering curiosity in early learners is essential
- Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills are necessary for success in this role
- Ability to adapt activities to suit a range of developmental needs is a must
- Experience working with young children in an educational setting, preferably childcare or early childhood, is a plus
