The Southington-Cheshire Community YMCA is seeking a dynamic, hands-on Site Coordinator to lead, supervise, and develop all aspects of our School-Age program site. You will foster a positive team environment, ensure the safety and growth of children, and serve as a proud YMCA ambassador in the Cheshire community.
FALL 2026 School Year
Part Time - Monday - Friday or 3 days per week am and/or pm
Before Care - 6:30am- 9:00am
After Care - 2:15 - 6:00pm or 3:00pm - 6:00pm
What You'll Do

What You'll Do
- Supervise children's activities
- Ensure the safety of all children
- Plan and implement varied age-appropriate activities
- Follow all YMCA policies and OEC licensing standards
- Communicate with parents as needed
- Be a positive role model
- Must be 20 years or older
- Qualified Candidate must be certified or qualified for a CT OEC Head Teacher’s Certification
- Have previous experience working with children
- Works effectively with children, families and other staff
- Possess good oral communication, written communication, public speaking and organizational skills
- CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification
