The 4K teacher will teach and instruct 4 and 5-year-old children using Creative Curriculum and other learning materials. This teacher is expected to encourage the growth and development of each child, inspire and motivate them to thrive intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. The available schedule in this room is from 7:00 to 3:00, Monday through Friday.

Small Beginnings Childcare Center provides care for infants, toddlers and young preschoolers. We are looking for a friendly, flexible and reliable teacher who has a passion for teaching young children. The 4K teacher will teach and instruct 4 and 5-year-old children using Creative Curriculum and other learning materials. This teacher is expected to encourage the growth and development of each child, inspire and motivate them to thrive intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically. Duties
- Follow Creative Curriculum
- Utilize Smart Teach for documentation
- Take anecdotal notes
- Implement age-appropriate lessons and activities
- Oversee and supervise activities indoors and outdoors
- Maintain a safe and clean environment
- Sanitize and disinfect toys, materials and surfaces within classroom
- Interact with children through instructional methods
- Associate's Degree minimum
- Experience in a licensed childcare facility
- ECD 101 or 15 Hour Health and Safety Certificate
- First Aid/CPR
- Experience in a SC First Steps 4K program or experience with preschoolers
