What You'll Do
- Develop and implement lesson plans which meet the educational standards and fosters appropriate child development
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Plan and execute daily lessons and activities, which promote cognitive, social and emotional growth
- Assess the developmental needs of each child and tailor activities to meet those needs
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and parents/family members
- Monitor and document student progress
- Manage classroom behaviors using positive guidance & positive reinforcement
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an early childhood classroom
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- CDA - nice to have
- Associates or BA in Early Childhood - nice to have
- CPR & First Aid - nice to have
- Bilingual abilities - nice to have
