Southfield Children's Center is a private, not for profit, NAEYC accredited Childcare Center serving children 6 weeks-5 years old. We are looking for an experienced, caring, and dependable Preschool Teacher (3-5 year olds) who exudes a passion for teaching young children. This position is M-F, 40 hours a week with a rotating schedule of 7:30-4:30 and 8:30-5:30. Candidate must have 1 year of teaching experience with a CDA or higher in ECE. Strong communication skills, team teaching experience, and relevant references are required. Competitive salary based on experience and education. Benefits are available.

- Team Teaching
- Creating a safe, healthy, and fun environment that promotes children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities.
- Communicating with families and co-teachers.
Requirements
- At least 1 year teaching experience
- Passionate about teaching young children.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team teaching environment.
- Experience working in a NAEYC Accredited Center
- Familiar with using the CTELDS and CTDOTS
- CDA or higher
