Duties
Provide classroom support across multiple age groups and classrooms as assigned.
Assist lead and assistant teachers with daily classroom activities, supervision, and routines.
Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for all children.
Help implement age-appropriate educational activities and behavior management strategies.
Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, meals, nap time, and transitions.
Ensure classroom ratios and licensing requirements are maintained at all times.
Support classroom organization, sanitation, and preparation of materials.
Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff members.
Communicate professionally and effectively with team members regarding classroom needs.
Step into classrooms quickly and adapt to varying schedules, routines, and teaching styles.
Follow all childcare center policies, state regulations, and health and safety procedures.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous Childcare Or Early Childhood Education Experience Preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
Ability to work with children of different ages and developmental levels.
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Flexible, dependable, and able to adapt to changing classroom needs.
Ability to lift, bend, stand, and actively engage with children throughout the day.
