What are the responsibilities and job description for the Co-Lead or Associate Young Toddler Teacher position at Acquire4Hire?
Summary
We are seeking a passionate full time lead or associate qualified teacher to join our fun, easy going, flexible, and energetic group of dedicated teachers. One of our current young toddler teachers will be going on maternity leave soon and we are looking to fill her position. When she returns, she will move into a different classroom so this will be a long term/permanent position.
Candidates with a minimum of 1000 hours of experience working in a licensed child care center and willingness to take a free training program to become associate qualified will also be strongly considered.
Candidates must be available 8:30 - 5:30 Monday through Friday.
Classroom: Young Toddlers - primarily working with children 12m - 24m.
The right candidate for us is a teacher that is able to work well with others, has a positive attitude, and an ability to create and implement developmentally appropriate activities.
Duties
As a lead or associate teacher, candidates will be responsible for the supervision and general care needs of the children in their classroom. Teachers have the flexibility to use their own creativity to create lesson plans based on pre-selected school wide themes and are provided a monthly budget for materials. We offer paid planning time and professional development assistance.
Requirements
Qualified candidates must have experience working in a licensed child care center and knowledge of child growth and development and NH Child Care Licensing rules and regulations.
Nice To Haves
Associates degree in ECE or a related field preferred but not required.
