Minimum Qualifications:
ECE degree/classes and/or experience in child care desirable but not required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organizing activities with the children in accordance with the curriculum as prepared by the Head Teacher.
- Prepare materials for the Teacher for planned activities.
- Diapering and potty training as necessary.
- Aide Teacher in cleaning classroom.
- Other duties as assigned which may include but are not limited to: a) Cleaning. up CDC kitchen and b) Organizing CDC kitchen and supplies.
Requirements prior to employment:
- All employees who are 18 years of age and older are required to submit finger prints to local and federal repositories for background checks prior to start date. APPLICANT COST: $8 for one finger print cards payable to Carson City Sheriff's Dept.
- Federal background check
- TB skin test clearance EMPLOYEE COST: Varies
- Employees must take the State of Nevada required initial training within the first 90 days of employment.
- Employees must take annual hours in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related subjects every licensing year of employment.
