The role involves working directly with families, providers, and internal teams to ensure accurate processing of child care eligibility, enrollment, and support services. The ideal candidate will have experience in child development, customer service, or social services, and demonstrate strong attention to detail when handling sensitive information. Proficiency in computer systems and the ability to manage complex data are essential for success in this role.
Duties
- Responsible for processing referrals received from several outside agencies, within the required timeframe of that agency.
- Responsible for detailed and accurate data entry of all referrals received.
- Advice clients of their responsibilities and expectations while receiving care under a referral eligibility period.
- Maintaining and responding to all referral inquiry emails.
- Provide information about quality childcare to help parents make an informed choice of providers, when receiving care through specific fundings.
- Enter client information into the automated system.
- Conduct all processes of communicating information to parents, such as educating parents about their rights and responsibilities, responding to parent complaints, and seeing that the needs of parents and children are met.
- Responsible for starting the parents re-certification process, termination of child care services and transitioning families to different, approved, fundings and childcare facilities.
- Collaborate closely with the Client Services Team.
- All other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of full-time professional experience in child development, child care programs, customer service, or social services.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex and sensitive information with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer applications and systems is required
