Benefits Account Manager (In-House)
Independent Insurance Agency | West Houston
We’re hiring an experienced Benefits Account Manager to join our in-house team on the west side of Houston. This is a strong opportunity for someone who knows employee benefits, enjoys working closely with producers and other account managers, and wants a company where career growth is real.
Location: West Houston
Salary: $75,000–$90,000 (up to $100,000 with the right experience)
What You’ll Do
- Manage day-to-day service and support for employee benefits clients
- Partner closely with a producer on renewals, marketing, quoting, and plan strategy
- Work alongside other account managers to support shared clients and provide backup
- Provide guidance across a broad range of benefits products and coverages
- Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth client service
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of benefits account management experience
- Strong knowledge of group benefits and marketplace options
- Strong client service, communication, and organization skills
- Designations are a plus
