About the Role
You’ll join a core Systems Engineering team responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining the firm’s critical compute, storage, and platform infrastructure. This is a hands-on role where you’ll tackle challenging technical problems, optimize systems at scale, and directly support high-impact research and trading workflows.
You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, researchers, and finance teams to ensure systems are reliable, performant, and scalable, while building tools and processes that increase automation and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain large-scale, high-performance computing and platform systems
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance across compute, storage, and network layers
- Develop automation and tooling to improve reliability, observability, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate with research and business teams to support new workflows and technical projects
- Lead technical initiatives to improve system scalability, resiliency, and maintainability
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance platform performance and capabilities
Skills and Experience
- Strong background in systems engineering or high-performance infrastructure
- Strong Python or OOP programming skills
- Experience with performance tuning, monitoring, and debugging in complex systems
- Solid understanding of operating systems, networking, configuration tools and distributed systems principles
- Ability to design scalable, resilient systems and implement operational improvements
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work across technical and business teams
Optional / Plus
- Experience supporting high-throughput compute, research infrastructure, or large-scale platforms
- Familiarity with hardware acceleration, specialized compute nodes, or storage optimization
Salary : $250,000 - $300,000
