Internal: Staff in Spa, Pool, Laundry, Housekeeping and Engineering.
External: Hotel guests/visitors, Spa members.

REPORTS TO: Operations Manager/Spa Director
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Job involves working: Main: locker rooms, relaxation areas, SPA Pool Trace. Secondary: All spa areas
- While standing for up to 8 hours including stair climbing to access various locations within spa
- Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
- Under variable temperature conditions (or extreme heat or cold)
- Under variable noise levels
- Outdoors/indoors
Internal: Staff in Spa, Pool, Laundry, Housekeeping and Engineering.
External: Hotel guests/visitors, Spa members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Essential:
- High school graduate.
- Current Florida license in Massage therapy from an accredited school.
- Fluent in English.
- Provide legible communication and directions.
- Compute basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers).
- Ability to:
- perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
- prioritize, organize and follow up.
- be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgement.
- follow directions thoroughly.
- understand guest’s service needs.
- work cohesively with co-workers as part of a five cultured team.
- work with minimal supervision.
- maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
- Previous experience as a therapist
- Experience with computers, calculators or word processors.
- Experience in Hospitality Industry in similar position.
- Previous guest relations training
- Fluency in a second language preferably Spanish, Portuguese or Russian
- Knowledge of Forbes 5 Star, LHW, AAA Five Diamond and ESPA standards.
