Swimming Academy in Doral, Florida is looking for SWIM INSTRUCTORS!
We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic individual who is empathetic, patient, and enjoys working with children and families

Our Academy has a INDOOR WARM WATER POOL that caters to the needs of children and adults of all ages and abilities. We pride ourselves in teaching not only water safety but competitive swimming skills as well.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 16 years or older.
- Experience with Water Safety Instruction for a minimum of 1 year is a plus.
- Swim background or competitive swimming experience required.
- Preferred but not required Certification in Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR, First Aid, and WSI.
- Experience with babies, mommy and me and special needs is a plus!
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, energetic, enthusiastic and motivational.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be customer service oriented and a team player.
- Comfortable working with all age groups, including children and adults.
- Able to develop and maintains positive relationships with co-workers and swimmers.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and work under pressure.
- Must be punctual!
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and with a great sense of humor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providing gentle and fun water safety and swim instruction using Red Cross and Acquaworld Swimming Academy´'s methods.
- Instruct swimming lessons and participate in events.
- Responsible for safety of swimmers and NEVER leave a class unattended.
- Provide a safe, clean and organized pool area.
- Monitors the use of the swimming pools; enforce safety rules, maintain order and discipline among swimmers and other customers at the location.
- Evaluates swimmers’ progress following Acqua World Swim Academy program evaluation.
- Enforces safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and administers first aid when necessary.
