Salary: $18-$22 DOEWe are currently in search of a dependable and reliable Line Cook to prepare food to the exact chefs specifications and to set up stations for menu. Operating in a premium fine dining environment, the successful candidate will assist the executive and sous chef with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will play a key role in contributing to our customer satisfaction and acquisition goals.To be successful as a line cook, you should be knowledgeable of various cooking techniques and have a passion for food. Ultimately, an exceptional line cook should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.Duties/Responsibilities:Works parallel with executive Chef to support food preparation, ensuring compliance with health, safety, food handling, and hygiene standards.Ensures customer satisfaction with food aspects of the restaurant and dining experience.Preparing food for service.Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks.Familiar with industrys best practices.Education/Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required.Previous fine dining preferred.Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.Prolonged periods standing.Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.Benefits:Employee discountFlexible scheduleHealth insurancePaid time offShift:8 hour shiftEvening shift
