Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role located in Austin, TX, for a Pool Technician. The Pool Technician will handle daily responsibilities such as cleaning, maintaining, and servicing residential swimming pools. Tasks include water testing, chemical balancing, equipment inspection, filter cleaning, pool cleaning, and minor pool equipment repairs. Reporting issues and recommending necessary repairs or upgrades to customers is also part of the role. This position requires excellent time management and customer service skills, with occasional interaction and assistance to clients.
Qualifications
- Skills in water testing, chemical balancing, and pool cleaning procedures
- Ability to perform basic maintenance and minor pool equipment repairs
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
- Experience in pool maintenance or similar roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- High school diploma or equivalent
