Commercial Flooring Project Manager/Estimator

Acoustics & Interior Construction, Inc. (Glen Allen, VA) is seeking a full-time highly motivated Commercial Flooring Project Manager/Estimator to join our team. This position is responsible for accurately preparing detailed take-offs, cost estimates, and proposals for flooring projects that consist of ceramic tile, carpet, resilient, and sheet vinyl.  This role requires strong attention to detail, industry knowledge, and the ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents.  This position works closely with general contractors, project managers, and suppliers to ensure competitive and accurate pricing that supports project success.  We are looking for someone with drive and a willingness to learn to jump right in.  Send resumes to carrie@acousticsinterior.com

Duties & Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and proposed project site conditions to assess flooring installation
• Analyze cost, material, and labor data to support bids and project feasibility
• Prepare detailed take-offs, cost estimates, and proposals with scope, pricing, and timelines
• Establish relationships and communicate with contractors and suppliers to provide accurate estimates throughout the bid process
• Coordinate project scheduling
• Collaborate with team members to gather input and finalize bid submissions
  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Knowledge of construction principals
• Ability to complete a detailed take-off and estimate
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as a team
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in commercial flooring & ceilings preferred
