Delivery Driver / Assistant - Fox Valley area

Operating a company vehicle to transport goods from our warehouse to customer locations, requiring the individual to not only drive but also actively participate in warehouse operations like loading, unloading, and order picking, ability to lift 50 pounds regularly, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries while maintaining proper inventory records and adhering to safety regulations.

• Delivery Operations:
  • Driving company vehicles to designated delivery locations
    • 26’ straight truck
    • Non-CDL required
  • Navigating routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules
  • Unloading deliveries at customer sites
  • Obtaining customer signatures and completing delivery paperwork
• Warehouse Operations:
  • Picking and packing customer orders from warehouse shelves
  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles using forklifts or pallet jacks
  • Verifying inventory accuracy and reporting discrepancies
  • Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Administrative Tasks:
  • Maintaining accurate delivery logs and records
  • Reporting any vehicle maintenance issues
  • Communicating with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery updates

• Required skills and qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment like forklifts
  • Ability to lift heavy packages, up to 80 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Basic computer literacy for order management systems
