**DESCRIPTION** We’re looking for a data-driven and strategic **Customer & Category Insights Manager** to join our team and lead the implementation of business insights and marketing initiatives across key retail departments—including Grocery, Non-Grocery, Perishables, and HBC. In this role, you’ll partner with business managers, clients, and category teams to deliver actionable insights that drive growth, optimize merchandising, and enhance customer engagement. If you’re passionate about turning data into strategy, collaborating across teams, and making a measurable impact in the retail space, this is the opportunity for you. **RESPONSIBILITIES** Build strong partnerships with business managers and clients to develop strategic plans for business insights across markets and customer teams. Analyze syndicated data and customer-specific metrics to create impactful insights presentations for category reviews, new item launches, and business updates. Collaborate with space technologists and category analysts to support client presentations and ensure timely delivery of insights. Maintain and update syndicated scanning databases (IRI, ACNielsen, POS, loyalty data) to support customer and client reviews. Assist category managers and key customer personnel in their category management processes with data-driven recommendations. Lead the development of major business insights presentations including customer, account, and client reviews, integrating demographic and household panel data where applicable. Participate in store visits and audits with business managers to assess merchandising and inventory needs. Support the design, execution, and evaluation of local co-marketing events in partnership with clients and business managers. Utilize tools such as ACNielsen Workstation, NITRO, and IRI Data Server to generate insights and support strategic decision-making. Perform miscellaneous duties and contribute to special projects as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education:** Bachelor of Science degree required. **Experience:** 3–5 years of experience in marketing, sales, or other industry-related functions. Prior experience in data analysis and systems management. **Skills & Competencies:** Strong proficiency in Windows and related software applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email, and database management. Experience with syndicated data platforms such as ACNielsen Workstation, NITRO, and IRI Data Server. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to operate standard office equipment including calculators, printers, fax machines, and copy machines. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
