Category Manager (CPG)

**DESCRIPTION** This position will work **\#remote #anywhere** in the **United States.** You will provide a high level of support for implementing **Category Management, Analytics, Insights,** and other related **business insights** initiatives for **Albertsons,** supporting **Coke.** You will demonstrate a high-level understanding of the **sales trends and drivers** that **affect** Retailers, Brands, and Consumers, working with cross-functional teams to deliver advanced, value-added, and **insight-driven analytics** and **recommendations** . **RESPONSIBILITIES** Leverage **Circana, Nielsen** , **EYC** , etc., to analyze data to **develop insights-based analysis** /projects with recommendations focused on strategies and objectives. Participate in the **category review** or **line review** processes, working with other cross-functional teams to provide complete **category management solutions** . **Strong Storytelling** Independently develop and maintain client-specific reporting that **measures performance against strategies** and objectives. Build solid presentations using multiple data sources, such as **syndicated, panel, basket, shopper,** and **other sources of data,** that provide solutions and recommendations to address business issues. Maintain connectivity with clients, and attend all required meetings/calls to ensure Understanding of **KPIs, innovation** , and other important information. Work closely and often with assigned clients and business managers by setting up **regular** **meetings** to become a trusted advisor Provide **follow-up** and **summarize results** Submit **success** stories **QUALIFICATIONS** **Education Requirements:** High School Diploma/GED Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) Category Management Certification (preferred) Related work experience can be substituted for educational requirements **Work Experience Requirements:** 3 – 5 years related work experience **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Requirements:** Demonstrate an advanced degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications, including Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with syndicated data and/or space management tools. Identifies and leverages relevant data to diagnose situations and identify potential solutions. Effectively and independently conduct data mining utilizing CPG math concepts and tools. Communicate clearly and effectively while understanding and adapting to the audience. Independently manages project plans and assumes responsibility for tracking, communication, and timing. Recognize problems and issues and identify the info needed to diagnose. Demonstrate a drive to meet the expectations and requirements of internal and external stakeholders.
