Customer Service Representative
Acorn Stairlifts is seeking a customer-focused, results-driven Customer Service Representative to deliver an exceptional showroom experience, engage with prospective customers, and support local sales and marketing efforts.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, communicating with customers, and balancing sales support with administrative responsibilities in a professional showroom environment.
What You’ll Do
Customer Experience & Appointment Setting
• Greet and assist walk-in customers, providing product demonstrations and guidance tailored to their needs.
• Schedule in-home consultations for prospective customers generated through showroom traffic and outbound outreach.
• Conduct outbound calls to assigned leads to generate and confirm appointments.
Marketing & Community Engagement
• Support local marketing efforts by participating in networking events, trade shows, and promotional activities as needed.
• Assist with the execution of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Showroom & Administrative Support
• Maintain showroom presentation, cleanliness, and product readiness.
• Accurately document customer interactions, appointments, and activities in the company’s CRM/database system.
• Support management with administrative and operational tasks; follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

What We’re Looking For
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with basic technology, including personal computers, and the ability to learn CRM/database systems.
• Ability to learn product knowledge and sales processes quickly.
• Strong time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing business needs.
• Professional appearance and adherence to business casual dress standards.
• Integrity, professionalism, teamwork, and a willingness to accept coaching and continuously improve.
Education & Experience
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in retail, sales, customer service, or a related field preferred.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
