Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems including water, sewer, gas, and drainage lines
- Diagnose plumbing issues and perform timely repairs to minimize operational downtime
- Service plumbing systems in gaming areas, hotels, restaurants, kitchens, restrooms, and employee facilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing fixtures, pumps, boilers, water heaters, and related equipment
- Respond to emergency plumbing calls during assigned shifts or on-call rotations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and plumbing diagrams
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, federal, and Tribal building codes and regulations
- Coordinate with other maintenance trades, contractors, and departments
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inspection records
- Practice safe work habits and follow all OSHA and casino safety policies
- Respect and support Tribal sovereignty, culture, and workplace standards
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Completion of an accredited plumbing apprenticeship or vocational program preferred
Valid plumbing license or certification (as required by jurisdiction)
Minimum 3.5 years of commercial or industrial plumbing experience preferred
Experience in hospitality, casino, hotel, or large facility environments is a plus
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED required
Completion of an accredited plumbing apprenticeship or vocational program preferred
Minimum of 3?5 years of hands-on plumbing experience in a commercial, industrial, or institutional setting
Prior experience in hospitality, casino, hotel, resort, healthcare, or large public facilities strongly preferred
Experience working in occupied buildings with minimal disruption to guests and operations
Familiarity with 24/7 operational environments and on-call or emergency response duties
The Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing plumbing systems throughout the Tribal Casino and associated properties. This role supports uninterrupted casino, hotel, restaurant, and back-of-house operations while complying with all applicable codes, safety standards, and Tribal policies. The Plumber plays a key role in ensuring guest comfort, employee safety, and regulatory compliance in a 24/7 operational environment.
