Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Operate commercial dishwashing machines safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, trash areas, and storage spaces
- Remove trash, recyclables, and food waste in compliance with sanitation guidelines
- Assist with basic kitchen prep and stocking as needed
- Ensure compliance with all health department regulations, food safety standards, and casino policies
- Follow proper handling procedures for cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Support cooks and kitchen staff during peak service periods
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
Required Qualifications
- Prior dishwashing or stewarding experience preferred, but not required
