Fast-paced financial advisory firm seeking a tax planning advisor. Primary duties include tax planning and the annual preparation of various federal, state, local, and foreign income tax returns and tax estimates for a variety of taxpayers.
Requirements
- 4 years of tax preparation experience
- Preference for someone with proven ability to perform tax return preparation using Intuit ProConnect or similar tax software
- Preference for someone with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Office proficiency

Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Prepare Federal and State tax returns for individuals
- Prepare Federal and State tax returns for C Corp, S Corp, Partnerships and Trusts
- Help advise high-net worth clients on a full spectrum of financial, tax and estate planning services
- Prepare tax projections, estimated payments and other necessary tax planning in conjunction with financial planning goals
- Gather information, research and respond to tax notices
- Bookkeeping, accounting and administrative responsibilities
- Review and analyze general ledgers and financial statements
- Work closely with clients to deliver timely and accurate financial and tax data
- Prepare and file various local compliance reporting as necessary
