Job Summary
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Engineering Manager with deep knowledge of IAPMO, NSF, and UL standards to lead our compliance team. This individual will oversee all aspects of product safety, certification, and regulatory compliance while managing day-to-day operations and working with engineers through testing and approval processes. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, hands-on technical expertise, and the ability to work effectively across engineering, manufacturing, and quality functions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage the compliance engineering team, setting goals, priorities, and ensuring timely project execution.
· Oversee certification processes with IAPMO, NSF, UL, and other regulatory bodies.
· Review and approve technical documentation, test plans, and applications for product certifications.
· Serve as the primary contact with external certification agencies, auditors, and testing labs.
· Monitor regulatory changes and update internal teams on new or revised requirements.
· Collaborate with product design, engineering, and manufacturing teams to resolve compliance issues.
· Conduct audits with notified body and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
· Prepare compliance reports and present findings to senior management.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred (Mechanical, or related discipline required).
· Minimum 5 years of compliance engineering experience, including management or supervisory experience.
· Proven expertise with IAPMO, NSF, and UL certification processes.
· Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
· Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time, on-site leadership position. Hours are 5:45 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
