Acorn Animal Hospital is looking for an experienced veterinarian for a temporary, part-time maternity leave coverage position at our well-established and thriving 10-doctor practice.
Duration & Schedule:
- Position need is anticipated to begin at the end of March 2026 to September 2026, approximately 6 months.
- Preferred schedule coverage needed is Wednesday 2nd shift, Friday 2nd shift, and every other Saturday mornings - about 15-20 hours per week.

- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA accredited university, or equivalent
- Active veterinarian license to practice in the state of MA, or license-eligible
- Experienced in companion animal wellness and preventive care medicine
- A commitment to the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
- This is a fixed contract opportunity for a temporary, part-time position needed for approximately 6 months. Compensation is negotiable based on experience, availability, and contract terms.
