Job Description: Field Service Representative
Job Summary
The Field Service Representative (FSR) helps people move and live better every day by ensuring they have the orthopaedic durable medical equipment (DME) products prescribed by their physician.
* Reports to: Director, Field Services
* Supervises: None

* Team-Minded: Works cohesively with the local sales team, clinical providers, and corporate counterparts to ensure desired outcomes.
* Attentive to Detail: Provides pertinent information accurately to ensure successful billing of DME products through health insurance.
* Adaptable: Thrives in an ever-evolving healthcare landscape to provide patients with the best possible products.
* Energetic: Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, moving seamlessly between tasks such as fitting patients, processing paperwork, handling returns, and managing inventory.
* Eager to Learn: Desires to become a subject matter expert over time across all DME products under the ACO umbrella.
* Technologically Savvy: Capable of navigating various EMR programs, Microsoft Outlook, and web portals to complete claims processing.
Skills and Requirements
Preferred
* Bachelor’s degree with completion of an Orthopedic Technology, Athletic Trainer, or Physical Therapy program, certified by the governing board of that field (or equivalent orthopedic experience).
* Board for Orthotics/Prosthetics certification (BOC) is a plus.
OR
Alternative Experience:
* 2 years of experience in a hospital, clinic, or office, or as an independent contractor working directly in the care of orthopedic patients or related fields.
* Demonstrated experience with applying soft goods/functional bracing and managing multiple patients in a high-volume setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
