Maintenance Worker (Facilities Associate)

As a Maintenance Worker, you’ll play a hands-on role in supporting the safety, appearance, and reliability of our bank’s facilities across Gettysburg and surrounding locations.

What You Bring to the Table
- High school diploma, vocational training, or equivalent
- At least 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a similar role
- Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. work indoors and outdoors, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
- Valid driver’s license and comfort traveling between locations
- Strong attention to detail, safety awareness, and follow-through
- Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with internal teams and external vendors
Key Responsibilities
- Keeping all bank facilities in top working order, proactively identifying and resolving maintenance issues related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and building structures.
- Ensuring safety and compliance, including inspections and upkeep of fire extinguishers, alarm systems, and physical security components.
- Maintaining professional-looking grounds and interiors, from seasonal landscaping and snow removal to painting, carpet cleaning, and parking lot maintenance.
- Supporting renovations, ATM installations, and office moves, coordinating closely with internal teams and external vendors to meet specifications and timelines.
- Managing maintenance resources responsibly, including assisting with vendor bids, overseeing contracted work, purchasing supplies, and maintaining accurate records and fixed asset inventories.
- Communicating clearly and reliably, keeping supervisors informed of issues, progress, and recommendations to prevent disruptions to bank operations.
