GL Accountant

Job Summary

GL Accountant is responsible for assisting with a wide range of accounting and financial reporting functions specific to month-end, year-end, and audit.

Job Duties

• Preparation and posting of month-end and year-end journal entries
• The ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
• Provide support to the Senior GL Accountant(s) and Accounting Manger as requested
• Performs daily, monthly, and quarterly account reconciliations which may include cash, prepaids, intercompany, & various liability accounts.
• Provide support for US and International financial audits.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and controls to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with GAAP and company policy.
• Collaboration with internal and external departments. This can include reconciliation, budgeting, problem solving, and variance analysis as requested.
• Continuously improve accounting procedures by analyzing current processes, recommending changes to streamline Workday and developing spreadsheet reports associated with the accounting close process.

Required Skills

• Highly motivated, detail oriented, deadline driven, and ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work collaboratively with peers and cross-functionally within the company
• A working knowledge of local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Strong analytical and technical accounting research skills
• Multi-Currency and intercompany background a plus · Excel knowledge including Pivot tables, Vlookups, etc

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (MBA preferred)
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience
• 3  years of reporting and analytical experience
• Experience in Workday or Acumatica a plus

Working Environment

• Onsite employees – As a condition of your employment with ACN, Inc, you will be required to work onsite at our designated office or facility. • Office environment Mon-Fri, between the hours of 8 A.M to 5 P.M 
• The position may require occasional travel for continuing education, training or support
