- Greeting and assisting all guests and co-workers in a professional and courteous manner
- Collecting customer information and checking out customers’ merchandise using a point-of-sale system
- Handling and bagging customers’ merchandise and coordinating assistance for loading customers’ products
- Staying informed on sales, rebates, and promotions of products
- Directing customers to Inside Sales Associates if they have questions or need help selecting products
- Answering customers’ questions over the phone, providing sales quotes for future purchases, and researching product and inventory
- Keeping a clean and organized sales floor, including product displays and work areas (fronting, pricing, and stocking sales shelves when not assisting customers)
- Participating in store events (physical inventories, sales meetings, trade shows, special sales, etc.)
- Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and striving to improve safety standards and reporting suspicious activity
- Completing related tasks as assigned
- Previous retail or customer service experience
- Basic computer skills and to be able to learn new software
- Good communication skills (in-person, over the phone, and through email)
- To be able to work a rotating Saturday shift
- Frequently lift up to 30 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Stand on a hard surface for the majority of your shift
- Bend, sit, squat, lift overhead, push, pull, kneel, and reach
- Employment offers are contingent on a drug screen and background check.
Salary : $17 - $18
