Cook County Hospital is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health team. This role provides psychiatric evaluation, treatment, and medication management for adult patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Key ResponsibilitiesConduct psychiatric evaluations and create treatment plans
Provide medication management and psychotherapy
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
Supervise residents and medical students
Support crisis intervention and on-call coverage
Document accurately in Epic EMR
M.D. or D.O. with completed psychiatry residency
Board Certified or Eligible (ABPN)
Illinois medical license (or eligibility) and DEA registration
Experience in inpatient or outpatient psychiatry preferred
Spanish language skills a plus
$250,000–$300,000 annual base salary
