Main Responsibilities
We are looking for candidates who possess the following:
Pay $19.00 hourly
Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include healthcare, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility).

Position Deli Manager Assistant
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain enthusiastic customer service and awareness.
- Assist customers with product suggestions, special orders, and food preparation.
- Handle customer complaints and escalate to Store Director as needed.
- Support department operations including food preparation, cooking, and serving.
- Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of deli area and equipment.
- Monitor and maintain proper temperatures during food preparation, display, and storage.
- Assist with scheduling, supervising, training, and assigning duties to department employees.
- Prepare and maintain sales and inventory reports; participate in physical inventory every 4 weeks.
- Control inventory levels to ensure product quality, freshness, and compliance with company directives.
- Implement promotional and seasonal displays and ensure compliance with labeling laws and company policies.

- Manual dexterity and good eye-hand coordination
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
- Operate kitchen and deli equipment (e.g., slicers, ovens, fryers, scales)
- Food safety certification
- Occasional travel, including overnight travel, may be required
- Must comply with grooming and dress code standards
- May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Good attendance is required
