What are the responsibilities and job description for the Flagpole helper position at Acme Lingo Flagpoles?
POSITION PURPOSE: The Flagpole helper position is responsible for assisting with all aspects of flagpole preparation and flagpole installation. This is a physically demanding job with both outside and inside work required.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Assist with the installation and service of flagpoles and footings.
- Load/unload truck for upcoming installation.
- Polish and assemble flagpole castings
- Assist in loading and unloading of trucks
- Pack flag and flagpole parts for shipment
- Restock shelves and label flag boxes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Other miscellaneous warehouse and field duties as needed
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Work effectively as part of a team and have a positive attitude
- Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions consistently and accurately
- Must be able and willing to dig holes and mix bagged concrete for flagpole footings.
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Must be able to use basic hand and power tools.
- Must be able to lift 80# unassisted
- Have valid driver’s license and be able to pass background and drug test
SCHEDULE:
Full Time, Monday thru Friday, between 6:00AM and 4:00 PM (8 hr shift will start between 6:00 am and 7:30 am depending on work required that day)
