Commercial Truck Driver

Summary 

Responsible for transporting cannabis products to and from Company locations in a safe and compliant manner. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

Bring a professional demeanor and attitude to work every day. This includes but is not limited to: 

• Be punctual 

• Be sober - operating a company vehicle under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or unapproved prescription drugs will not be tolerated under any circumstances and is grounds for immediate termination 

• Use navigation device tools and local knowledge to optimize routes and adapt to traffic or scheduling needs

• Ensure the manifest details are accurate 

• Cross-check the manifest with the labels on the order 

• Ensure there are two copies of the manifest (and invoice, if applicable) with every order 

• Fill out any paperwork related to pending transactions for that day

• Verify the contents of the delivery and proper paperwork before leaving the facility

• Perform basic vehicle checks, report issues, and keep your delivery vehicle clean and organized

• Drive safely and obey all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to keep yourself and others secure

• Effectively communicate with customers to help positively resolve any issues that may arise during a delivery 

• Responsible for your safety and security, company vehicles, facilities, and assets 

• Perform other duties as assigned.
