Job Description:
Acme Fresh Market is hiring a friendly and dedicated Deli Associate to join our team. We have openings at several locations. As a Deli Associate, you will provide excellent customer service, prepare fresh food, slice meats and cheeses and and maintain a clean, safe, and organized department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders to ensure a great shopping experience.
- Prepare and replenish deli cases with fresh products, following company standards and code dating procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the department, including work areas, equipment, and utensils, while adhering to safety and sanitation regulations.
- Handle products and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain food safety logs.
- Unload deliveries and assist in maintaining coolers and freezers.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum age of 18 years old.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds regularly (up to 50 pounds occasionally).
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
- No prior experience required; food safety experience is a plus.
