Job Responsibilities:
- Provide professional service to all guests.
- Serve menu items to guests in a prompt and courteous manner according to established service standards.
- Perform pre- and post-shift side work, load, unload, prepare the venue, etc.
- Adhere to all food safety guidelines at all times.
- Monitor and observe guests’ dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.
- Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for the next course.
- Assist with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods.
- Perform event set-up and clean-up duties as requested; including sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, and setting up / tearing down catering equipment (Chafers, Pans, etc)
- If you see something, say something! Report all problems and maintenance issues to your supervisor.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand and continuously move for the duration of a regular shift.
- Must be able to maneuver, bend, twist, pivot, and navigate stairs.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. or more.
- Must be 18 or older.
Educational and/or Experience Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License and willingness to drive Catering vehicles.
- Must be a fast-paced worker, able to work with accuracy and skill.
- Top-notch customer service skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a “customer first” mentality.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to adhere to quality standards for safety, sanitation, and food handling.
- Must be available to work evenings and weekend shifts.
