Howard Logistics, a sister company of Acme Distribution Centers, Inc has been Denver's leading supply chain, warehouse, transportation, fulfillment logistic and management company since 1947. We have an immediate opening for Warehouse Manager at our Denver facility.
Responsibilities:
· Reports to Operations Manager, managing all aspects of department operations
· Supervising, training, and coaching warehouse personnel, and temporary employees on operational activities, performance, and safety.
· Meets warehouse operational standards by implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse improvements and efficiencies.
· Collaborate with Operations Manager to determine shipping schedules, labor requirements for warehouse, projects, and cycle counts
· Manage invoicing
· Administer proper discipline when necessary working with the Human Resources Department and Operations Manager on all employee related issues to include disciplinary decisions. Assisting with reducing employee turnover and reducing overtime-working hours.
· Available for internal & external customers & operational necessities
· Mange employee time in payroll system, works with Payroll Department ensure all hours are accurate for both temp employees and full-time employees
· Manage dock activities when needed to ensure the delivery of products to/from customers.
· Ensure adherence of all company policies, rules and guidelines and SOPs.
· Manage various projects to improve efficiencies, customer experience, and space utilization
· Make recommendations and assist in implementation of process improvements
· Perform other functions as assigned
· This position abides by GMP and Food Safety/Quality regulations set by the company
Requirements:
· A minimum of 2 years of experience in a direct or indirect leadership role
· Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
· Skill in organization, time management, prioritization, and attention to detail
· Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs
· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, and the public
· Flexible scheduled
· Able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Location: 13100 E 38th Ave Denver, CO 80239
Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm
Salary: $ 55-60,000/ year
