Maintenance Technician Summary:

This position will provide the right individual an opportunity to use their technical and service expertise to meet and exceed our customer’s needs in the corrugated packaging business.

The ideal candidate must have the ability/experience:

• Have familiarity with mechanical systems including, but not limited to, bearings, bearing housing, sprocket configurations, chain assemblies, clutch mechanisms, bushing assemblies, pneumatics (cylinders and other), hydraulics (cylinders and systems)
• Diagnose mechanical problems (i.e. failures or pre-failure modes of bearings, sprocket, seals, bushings)
• Install mechanical parts per instruction from either the maintenance manager or using machines schematics/OEM instructions
• Familiarity with both metric and standard (US) measurement systems
• At least 3 years experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
• Electrical experience a plus but not required
• Ability to read & understand blueprints/schematics
• Work overtime and weekends as required
