Concrete Worker

Acme Bridge Company is hiring a Concrete Crew for heavy bridge construction near La Grange, TX. Form Setters, Steel Tiers, Finishers and General Laborers needed. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Essential Job Functions:

• Operate all equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
• Provide labor/assistance with all aspects of our construction needs.
• Understand concrete placement, and work and labor associated with concrete paving construction.
• Concrete form, pour, and finish related to heavy highway construction.
• Tying and setting rebar cages.
• Set bridge deck panels and beams.
• Cleaning up job site.
• Daily/weekly safety meetings.

Qualifications:

• Previous construction experience working with concrete forms, bridges, retaining walls, drainage structures or other rough carpentry work.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening and a motor vehicle report.
• Ability to dependably commute to jobsite.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
